Holman Automotive picked up a site on Fort Lauderdale’s South Federal Highway with plans to convert an existing building into a new MINI Cooper showroom.

The company acquired the 1.1-acre property at 2150 South Federal Highway for $3.7 million, according to Friday’s announcement from Berger Commercial Realty, which represented Holman in the deal. A 38,000-square-foot building at the site used to be the home of Air & Sea Rent-A-Car. The property also includes a 185-space parking garage.
