Two law firms expand offices at Southeast Financial Center

Lease expansions total 30K square feet

Two Southeast Financial Center tenants expanded their leases, JLL announced on Monday.

Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP will lease 18,426 square feet on the 31st floor after expanding by 3,961 square feet, according to a press release. The law firm has been a tenant of the building for nearly 30 years and renewed its lease in January.

Law firm Cozen O’Connor will lease half of the 44th floor, 11,600 square feet, after a 2,700-square-foot expansion. Cozen O’Connor has been a tenant since 2006.

Donald Cartwright, a JLL senior vice president, and Nicole Vassilaros, JLL vice president, are the exclusive leasing agents for the building. The lease expansions total more than 30,000 square feet.

Southeast Financial Center, at 200 South Biscayne Boulevard, has 26 law firms as tenants. The building has recently undergone capital improvements totaling $20.5 million, according to the press release. — Katherine Kallergis
