The former CEO of Carnival Cruise Lines has listed his Coral Gables mansion for $8.3 million.
Bob Dickinson, who led the cruise giant for 35 years before retiring in 2007, owns the home at 29 Tahiti Beach Island Road that’s now up for sale.
Dickinson and his wife Jodi first purchased the 12,056-square-foot estate in 1998. It was built in 1994 and recently renovated, according to a news release.
The couple paid $2.975 million and got in return a Tuscan-style residence complete with hardwood floors, exposed ceiling beams, stained glass windows and manicured gardens along the Chicago brick driveway.
On top of that is the property’s so-called “pièce de résistance:” a massive temperature-controlled wine cellar that can hold more than 20,000 bottles.
The listing belongs to the Jills, a well-known team of Realtors from Coldwell Banker that includes Jill Eber, Jill Hertzberg, Felise Eber, Danny Hertzberg and Hillary Hertzberg.
Dickinson’s home is in the Tahiti Beach neighborhood, a gated subsection of Coral Gables that faces Biscayne Bay.
“The home gives you the feel of an exquisite estate in Tuscany with all the modern conveniences,” Jill Eber said in a statement.
