After listing her Jupiter Island mansion for $72.5 million in 2013, Celine Dion has reportedly lowered the asking price to $45.5 million – that’s a cut of $27 million.
The 5.7-acre waterfront property features a nearly 10,000-square-foot home with five bedrooms, five bedrooms, an elevator and media room. The French-Canadian singer and songwriter and her late husband René Angélil built the mansion in 2010. Also on the property is an eight-bedroom guest house, a water park, pool house, beach house and a tennis pavilion with a simulated golf range.
Dion hired Fenton Lang & Bruner to list the property this time around, GossipExtra reported. “We believe it’s appropriately priced at $45.5 million,” listing agent Adrian Reed told the gossip website. “There might be a half dozen potential buyers in the world for this property, so it’s hard to gauge its value.”
Dion and Angélil took out a $35 million loan on the Jupiter Island property, which is in Martin County, last year. It also features 486 feet of ocean frontage. [Gossip Extra] – Katherine Kallergis
