Adler Group and 13th Floor Investments broke ground on Motion at Dadeland, a luxury rental project next to the Dadeland Metrorail station.
The developers plan to build a 25-story, 294-unit apartment tower with retail on the ground floor. They paid $6.2 million for the ground lease at 6800 Southwest 84th Street from Miami-Dade County in April and closed on a $50 million construction loan in August.
Amenities at Motion at Dadeland will include a sixth-floor amenity deck, fitness center, pool deck, cabanas and a co-working center. The transit-oriented project will have parking for residents, guests and 54 spaces for the retail component.
