Rosie O’Donnell and Ben Carson now have two things in common: they’ve been the verbal targets of President-elect Donald Trump, and they’re both listing their Palm Beach homes for sale.
Rosie O’Donnell, 3100 North Flagler Drive, $6M
O’Donnell put her six-bedroom, 5,700-square-foot house at 3100 North Flagler Drive on the market for $6.05 million, Variety first reported. The property was built in 1957, features 178 feet of waterfront, a deep water dock, guest home, two loggias and an outdoor fireplace, heated pool and spa, according to the listing. Dona Becker with Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Florida 1st is the listing agent.
The former TV show host and comedian paid just under $5 million for the property in July 2015. O’Donnell has owned homes in Chicago, New York City and in Florida, including on Star Island. She sold her Star Island mansion in 2013 for $16.5 million, according to Variety.
Ben Carson, 10942 Egret Point Lane , $1.2M
Former presidential candidate and ex-surgeon Ben Carson and his wife Lacena Carson listed their country club home for sale asking $1.2 million. The five-bedroom, 7,677-square-foot house at 10942 Egret Point Lane hit the market last week.
The home, built in 1994, has marble floors, 22-foot ceilings and water and golf course views.
The Carsons paid $775,000 for the Mediterranean-style house in 2013, which means they want to sell it for a 55 percent profit. Mansion Global first reported the listing, which includes membership to the Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course and clubhouse. Engel & Vӧlkers agent Arthur Martens is listing the property.
In June, the Carsons upgraded to a $4.4 million mansion in Palm Beach Gardens.
Earlier this week, Trump announced he plans to nominate Carson as Secretary of Housing and Urban Development.
