Recording artist Celine Dion is still trying to sell her beachfront mansion in Jupiter Island, but she found a buyer for a smaller home in Hobe Sound.
The singer and songwriter sold the 3,000-square-foot home at 5801 Southeast Forest Glade Trail in Hobe Sound for $534,094.
GossipExtra.com also reported that the four-bedroom home in Hobe Sound had been used by Dion’s staff and by visiting friends and family members who didn’t stay at her nine-bedroom mansion in Jupiter island.
In 2009, Dion used a blind trust called Sheer Claren to purchase the Hobe Sound home in The Arbors community for $430,000.
She has been trying to sell her mansion on South Beach Road in Jupiter Island for four years. The asking price for the property, which features a water park, was lowered to $38.5 million in January. The original asking price was $72.5 million.
The French-Canadian recording artist and her late husband René Angélil built the mansion in 2010. [GossipExtra.com] – Mike Seemuth
