Retired professional football player Vinny Testaverde listed his Florida home north of Tampa for sale for $4.9 million.
Testaverde, who rose to national prominence as quarterback of the University of Miami football team, won college football’s highest honor, the Heisman Trophy, in 1986.
Testaverde paid slightly less than $800,000 for his home in Odessa, about a one-hour drive north of Tampa, where he began his professional career in the National Football League with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
His seven-bedroom, 11-bathroom residence features wood flooring throughout and vaulted and tray ceilings in each room.
The three-story home is well equipped for entertainment. It has a full bar and wine room, basketball and tennis courts, a swimming pool and a putting green. A virtual golf room is located on the third floor, and the home has a gym, ice tub and sauna on the first floor.
The residence also features an in-law suite with a private entrance, bathroom and wet bar. [Realtor.com] –Mike Seemuth
