Lamar Odom asks less for Pinecrest home

The former Miami Heat player reduced his initial $5.2M asking price by $305,000

Retired professional basketball player Lamar Odom cut the asking price for his mansion in the Miami suburb of Pinecrest by $305,000 to $4.895 million.

Odom, 37, who played for the Miami Heat during the 2003-2004 season, initially listed his Pinecrest residence for sale on April 27 for $5.2 million. He retired from the National Basketball Association in 2013 as a forward for the Los Angeles Lakers. Odom, ex-husband of celebrity Khloe Kardashian, also has performed as a reality TV star.

He paid $2.975 million in 2003 for his six-bedroom, 7.5-bathroom Pinecrest residence at 9401 Southwest 63rd Court, which spans 8,557 square feet.

The Pinecrest home features a pool and spa, covered terrace, gourmet kitchen, media room, built-in bar, tennis court and basketball court.

Two other former Miami Heat players have listed homes in Pinecrest for sale.

Former Miami Heat center Chris “Birdman” Andersen listed his 7,629-square-foot residence at 5826 Southwest 107 Street in Pinecrest with a reduced asking price of $3.94 million. Andersen initially listed the home for sale for $4.55 million on April 7.

Former Miami Heat guard Anfernee “Penny” Hardaway has listed his six-bedroom, 7.5-bathroom Pinecrest home at 5940 Southwest 108 Street with an asking price of $3.8 million. [Daily Mail] Mike Seemuth
