A Brazilian digital marketing executive just paid $6.4 million for a newly completed waterfront spec home in Golden Beach, The Real Deal has learned.

The house at 410 Golden Beach Drive spans 5,631 square feet, with seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms. It sits on a 13,125-square-foot lot with 75 feet fronting a canal. The sale price equates to $1,136 per square foot.

Lydia Eskenazi of Harding Realty, the listing agent for the property, told TRD the sale closed on Friday. She said the price sets a record for non-oceanfront property in Golden Beach.

The buyer, Eskenazi said, is 410 Golden Beach LLC. Records show the entity is linked to Fabrizio Haas. Haas is a partner at Lima Consulting Group and head of business development in Brazil, according to the company’s website. The company has offices in Malvern, Pennsylvania; Sao Paulo and Porto Alegre, Brazil; and Montevideo, Uruguay.

Marcello Agostini of AG Real Estate Advisors represented the buyer.

Ricardo Halfen of TREO Developments built and sold the spec home. His wife, Stephanie Halfen of Sdh Studio, was the architect, Eskenazi said. Records show 410 GB LLC, linked to Ricardo Halfen, paid $2.4 million for the property in 2013.

The new buyer put the home under contract while it was still under construction and had input to “tweak a few things to personalize it,” Eskenazi said.

Residents of Golden Beach, an exclusive waterfront enclave in north Miami-Dade, have access to a private beach. The town is home to such celebrities as Bruce Weber and Tommy Hilfiger. In February, Hilfiger put his oceanfront mansion at 605 Ocean Boulevard on the market for $27.5 million. Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim is also building an oceanfront mansion nearby.

In April, a Brazilian buyer paid $6.25 million for a home on the Intracoastal Waterway in Golden Beach, dubbed “Villa D’Amore.” The sale price equated to $861 per square foot.
