Another Broken Egg hires new vice president of real estate development

The chain of cafes serving breakfast, brunch and lunch has five locations in South Florida and a total of 21 statewide

Another Broken Egg of America, LLC, a Florida-based chain of cafes serving breakfast,brunch and lunch, appointed Clay Carson as its new vice president of franchise sales and real estate development.

Carson, who has more than 15 years of experience in real estate and development, joined Another Broken Egg as the Miramar Beach-based company prepares for accelerated expansion and aims for 25 cafe openings per year.

The company has a Southern-inspired menu and more than 60 cafes in 13 states plus dozens more in development.

According to its website, Another Broken Egg has locations in 21 cities throughout Florida including Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Jupiter and Pembroke Pines.

Carson previously was co-owner and chief executive officer of East Coast Kilt, where he developed more than 40 locations for the Tilted Kilt Pub and Eatery restaurant chain.

Prior to joining Another Broken Egg, Carson was director of development for Coolgreens, an Oklahoma-based restaurant chain that offers salads, sandwiches and wraps.

Another Broken Egg, founded in 1996 by Ron E. Green, specializes in two rapidly growing segments of the restaurant industry.
