A Deerfield Beach-based company bought a medical office building in Bradenton for $6.65 million, almost twice the price the seller paid four years ago.

Coastal Medica LLC, managed by Bruce L. Schreiber, bought the 14-year-old building for about $361 per square foot.

Coastal Medica got a $4.9 million mortgage loan from Reliance Bank to finance the acqusition.

Coastal Orthopedics and Partners Imaging Center occupies the 18,380-square-foot medical building at 5101 4th Ave. Circle East in Bradenton.

A Bradenton company managed by former state Senator John M. McKay sold the 1.7-acre property for nearly double its 2014 purchase price of $3.35 million. [Sarasota Herald-Tribune] Mike Seemuth
