Hotel digital marketing company moves HQ to Cypress Creek

National marketing firm Tambourine is moving its headquarters to Fort Lauderdale’s Cypress Creek neighborhood.

The company just inked a 25,000-square-foot office lease at Trade Centre South, a 10-story, 225,000-square-foot office building at 100 West Cypress Creek Road. The building owner, G&I VII Trade Centre South, is an affiliate of New York-based investment manager DRA Advisors.

The area has seen an uptick in interest from investors looking to take advantage of proposed up-zoning that will allow for additional residential and hotel development in a 353-acre in the neighborhood, dubbed Uptown Urban Village.

Colliers International South Florida’s Sal Bonsignore represented Tambourine, which helps hoteliers and hotel management and asset management firms with digital content and branding.

Tambourine has locations in Carlsbad, California; New York City; and Bogota, Colombia. The company plans to move in January 2019.

Dental supply distributor inks 13,845 sf lease at Hillsboro Center

Darby Dental Supply just inked a long-term 13,845-square-foot lease in Deerfield Beach.

The dental supply distributor is relocating from Coral Springs and is expanding by 4,000 square feet at the 116,000-square-foot Hillsboro Center at 600 West Hillsboro Boulevard.

Colliers International South Florida’s Sal Bonsignore and Kenneth Enos represented Darby Dental Supply. George Sacks and Dante Gentile of Commercial Florida represented the landlord, TEQ Hillsboro, LLC, which is a joint venture between Commercial Florida Hillsboro and TriGate Capital.

Darby Dental Supply will be located on the second floor of the six-story building. The company currently operates seven regional locations nationwide, including the one in South Florida. It plans to move in by the fourth quarter of 2018.

Co-working concept inks 14,000 sf space in Doral

Co-working concept Venture X is expanding to Doral.

The company just inked a long-term, 14,000-square-foot lease at a 92,786-square-foot office building at 8350 Northwest 52nd Terrace in Downtown Doral.

Avison Young’s Donna Abood and Joe Abood represented the tenant. Fairchild Partners’ Jonathon Lay and Tony Puente represented the landlord, Doral 8350 Office, which is an affiliate of Codina Partners.

The office is slated to open in the first quarter of 2019. It will be Venture X’s fifth location in Florida. The company also has offices in Naples, Orlando, Palm Beach Gardens and West Palm Beach.
