Venus Williams puts her longtime home in Palm Beach Gardens on the market

The tennis star is asking $2.695M for the two-story six-bedroom house, an 8,500-square-foot property in BallenIsles Country Club, a gated golf community

Tennis champion Venus Williams listed her longtime home in Palm Beach Gardens for $2.695 million.

The two-story, six-bedroom house is located in BallenIsles Country Club, a gated golf community.

Williams, 38, bought the one-acre property in 1988 for $525,000 and finished building the 8,500-square-foot house there in 2000.

The Palm Beach Gardens residence has a swimming pool and spa, an outdoor gazebo and a 5,000-square-foot patio overlooking an artificial lake.

Interior features include floor-to-ceiling windows, marble floors in the main living rooms, and hardwood floors and crown molding in the bedrooms. The second story encompasses a spacious loft area and private guest suites.
