Miami condo sales go up, but dollar volume falls

More than 100 condos sold last week in Miami-Dade County, marking a weekly increase, but dollar volume fell.

A total of 110 condos sold for $53.9 million last week, compared to 80 units that sold for $55.2 million the previous week. Condos last week sold for an average price of about $490,000 or $349 per square foot.

The most expensive sale was for unit 905 in the south tower of the Four Seasons Residences at the Surf Club in Surfside. The unit traded for $6.5 million, or just under $3,000 per square foot. Dora Puig represented the seller while Bruno Junqueira represented the buyer. The unit was listed for 36 days.

The second most expensive sale of the week was at Faena House in Miami Beach. Unit 8C sold for $5.2 million, about $2,300 per square foot, after 726 days on the market. Lourdes Gutierrez represented the seller, while Mick Duchon represented the buyer.
