Max Weinberg, the drummer for Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band, sold a Delray Beach home for $5.15 million.
Weinberg and his wife, Rebecca, sold the home at 1041 Seaspray Avenue to Roger W. and Gentry Ashmore Hoit, according to records.
Weinberg is the long-time drummer for Bruce Springsteen and the former drummer for Late Night with Conan O’Brien. He is also a real estate investor, and was appointed to a two-year term on the Delray Beach Planning and Zoning Board in August.
Roger Hoit is a managing director at Moelis & Co., a global investment bank based in New York. Gentry Ashmore Hoit is a senior advisor at Finback Real Estate, a New York-based advisory service. She recently brokered a $200 million Blackstone office building deal in New York.
Records show the 5,092-square-foot Delray Beach home last sold for $4 million in 2017. In November 2019, it was listed for $5.3 million. Candace Friis with The Corcoran Group represented both parties in the deal.
The house has six bedrooms, five full bathrooms and two half-bathrooms. Built in 2013, the home also comes with a guest suite, a three-car garage and a pool.
