Donald Trump Jr. and his girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle have purchased a waterfront home in South Florida.

The couple paid $9.7 million for the six-bedroom, five-and-a-half bathroom house in Jupiter’s Admirals Cove community, according to a source. The renovated mansion was one of two adjacent properties that Guilfoyle planned to buy until those deals fell apart. The twosome closed on their new home Wednesday afternoon.

The purchase of 494 Mariner Drive comes weeks after the pair sold their Bridgehampton, New York, home for $8.1 million in March.

The Admirals Cove estate spans nearly 11,300 square feet on a 1.2-acre waterfront lot. Property records show the seller is Sheri B. Nelson, the ex-wife of former New York Yankees relief pitcher Jeff Nelson, who retained the property as part of her divorce settlement. The Nelsons paid $3.5 million for the home in 1999, four years after it was built.

Guilfoyle had planned to buy 494 Mariner Drive herself, and together with Don Jr. was in contract to buy the adjacent house at 492 Mariner Drive. After residents of the high-end community raised concerns, the Palm Beach Post reported that the couple instead intended to purchase a $6.5 million home in Palm Beach Gardens.

But they ended up returning to 494 Mariner Drive. The property next door sold to a different buyer.
