Top Douglas Elliman broker Holly Parker is heading south.

Parker’s team is expanding to South Florida and bringing on Samantha Curry, a top-producing agent for Elliman in Palm Beach. Parker’s team has been ranked in the top two at Elliman for more than a decade, and Curry is ranked as the third highest-producing agent in Florida for the New York-based brokerage, according to a release. She has sold properties totaling $130 million so far this year.

Parker said she is in the process of getting her real estate license in Florida. Her team has three agents in Florida, including Michael Passaro, and 14 in New York. She said the decision to expand was a “natural progression” as more of her clients buy homes in South Florida.

Curry was involved in the $42.6 million sale of a unit at The Bristol in West Palm Beach last year, which marked a record for Palm Beach County condo sales.

Parker hopes to expand throughout South Florida in terms of market reach and agent count. Her team has closed nearly $8 billion in sales in its history, according to Elliman.

“This is our first stop, and we’re going to keep going,” she said.

A number of agents moved or expanded to Florida since last year amid the huge migration of wealth. In January, Compass’ The Assouline Team, led by Ruthie and Ethan Assouline, moved to Miami.
