One Sotheby’s International Realty is beefing up its new development sales division with the addition of the Catena Group.

The team, which includes Catalina Martinez, Ena Espino and Damian Silvi, left Fortune International Group after more than a decade with the brokerage, Espino said. Most recently, they were working on presales of Una Residences in Brickell and Missoni Baia in Miami’s Edgewater.

At One Sotheby’s, the group will focus on the St. Regis Residences, Miami. Related Group and Integra Investments plan to begin selling the two-tower, 354-unit St. Regis Brickell project in January. Catena Group team members are all vice presidents of sales.

Espino said the team was not looking to leave Fortune, but that the timing was right when One Sotheby’s approached them.

The Catena Group has reportedly closed $3 billion in sales volume, according to a press release. The agents have worked on sales of One Ocean and Marea in Miami Beach, as well as buildings in Midtown Miami and Icon Brickell.

Daniel de la Vega, president of One Sotheby’s, said he expects to have more than $6 billion in new development inventory by the second quarter of next year. Developers have been launching projects in recent months, spurred by the boost of interest in South Florida real estate.

In Brickell, where the St. Regis is planned, other new developments include two huge projects from developer Michael Stern and the Baccarat Residences from the Related Group.
