The top 10 priciest construction projects that got underway in 2022 in Miami-Dade County totaled $483 million in estimated cost.

Miami-Dade’s most expensive new project, ranked by estimated cost for 2022, is part of Terra’s massive Grove Central development by the Coconut Grove Metrorail Station. The mixed-use tower rising at 2800 Southwest 27th Terrace is slated to cost $125 million — the same price tag as one underway at 2780 Southwest 27th Terrace, which topped the list in 2021.

Two government facilities going up at 15000 Northwest 37th Court and 23300 Southwest 88th Avenue take the next two spots, with costs of $86 million and $64 million, respectively.

The $53 million office component of the mixed-use Altis Ludlam Trail development in Glenvar Heights, and a $39 million multifamily project at 18412 Homestead Avenue round out the top five.
