Miami-Dade condo sales climb in March to $808M 

$21M closing at Fisher Island took the top spot

Miami-Dade County condo sales missed the memo last month that the economy is on the brink of a recession.

March condo sales roared past February’s total, reaching $808 million, up 33 percent compared to $544 million in February.

Brokers closed 1,034 sales last month, compared to 720 sales in February, MLS data from Redfin show. Sale prices ranged from $40,000 to $21 million, with a median sale price $395,000. Price per square foot ranged from $55 to $4,055, with a median of $428 per square foot.

By comparison, in January brokers closed 637 sales, totaling $442 million, with a median sale price of $398,000.

Unit 7954 at Oceanside at Fisher Island, at 7954 Fisher Island Drive in Miami Beach snagged March’s title of priciest deal at $21 million — or $3,078 per square foot. Dora Puig with Luxe Living Realty had the listing, and Julian Johnston with Corcoran represented the buyer. The condo spent 346 days on the market

That sale is on par with February’s top sale. Unit S-1005 at Four Seasons Residences at the Surf Club in Surfside also sold for $21 million — or $4,563 per square foot — after spending 242 days on the market.

Similar to February, a sale at the Zurich Condo in North Miami brought up the rear for March. Unit 310 at 13480 Northeast Sixth Avenue sold for $40,000. The sale breaks down to $55 per square foot. Teo Palmieri with Elite Ocean View Realty had the listing, and Christina Morenza with Florida One Realty represented the buyer.
