A new Miami brokerage is launching, and firms across South Florida are bulking up their staff, in the latest tri-county real estate hiring news.
Miami agent Filippo Incorvaia is launching his own brokerage, FI Real Estate, according to a press release. Incorvaia spent eight years with Douglas Elliman before opening his own firm, which will be based in an office at 127 North Miami Avenue in Miami.
Incorvaia’s firm will work across asset classes, in residential, commercial and institutional real estate, the release shows. Joining his team as agents are Richard Santiago, Natalia Purisaca, Gian Franco Ciccone, John Verea, Bradley Schmidt, Lorena Dolber, Aaron De Mayo, Roberto Cannarella, Daniel Perez, Filippo Incorvaia, Sr., and Fabrizio Alfano, according to FI Real Estate’s website.
The law firm Holland & Knight is adding a former Doral city attorney to its real estate practice in its Miami office, a press release says. Luis Figueredo, a Harvard Law School graduate who joined the city of Doral’s legal staff in 2018, is joining the firm, shortly after it hired former Coral Gables city attorney Miriam Soler Ramos.
Gary A. Gottlieb joined Colliers South Florida as an executive vice president based in Boca Raton, according to a press release. He joins the firm after nine years as a principal at Avison Young, LinkedIn shows. Gottlieb’s role will focus on office services, the release says.
His arrival comes on the heels of Colliers hiring Ana Paula as a South Florida vice president.
JLL hired Jonathan Rosen as a senior vice president in its Miami office, specializing in retail landlord and tenant representation, according to a press release. The move is a homecoming for Rosen, who previously worked for JLL as a senior associate from 2017 until 2021. That’s when he moved to Colliers and rose to the rank of vice president, LinkedIn shows.
JLL also recently hired Zach Wendelin as a managing director in the Miami office.
Illustrated Properties made leadership changes in Palm Beach County. After four years leading its Fairway office, the brokerage appointed Jason Pappas to head the firm’s Wellington office. He previously spent 10 years as an agent with his family’s brokerage, the Keyes Company, which owns Illustrated Properties.
Illustrated also hired Andy Noble to head its PGA office, and Tammie Epting to lead the Jupiter office. Noble previously worked as a business and personal growth coach with Keller Williams for six years, LinkedIn shows. Epting previously worked with Premier Realty Group in Sewalls Point.
Compass also added agents to its South Florida offices. Milton Andrade and his Franklin Realty Consultants team moved to Compass’ Miami office, and Francisco Giron is joining the brokerage’s Fort Lauderdale office.
