Broward condo sales fall in April to $336M  

$4.2M closing at Four Seasons Residences Fort Lauderdale took top spot

Broward County’s monthly condo sales fell for the first time this year. 

April finished out at $336 million in sales, down from March’s $379 million. Yet, sales still topped February’s $238 million and January’s $250 million.

Brokers closed 962 sales last month, compared to 1,155 sales in March, Multiple Listing Service data from Redfin show.

April sale prices ranged from $75,000 to $4.2 million, with a median sale price of $240,000. The median price per square foot was $234.

By comparison, March sales prices ranged from $52,100 to $5.4 million, with a median sale price of $232,000. The price per square foot for March ranged from $72 to $2,286, with a median of $229.

Similar to March, a condo at the Four Seasons Residences in Fort Lauderdale took the top spot. Unit 702 at 525 North Fort Lauderdale Beach snagged April’s priciest sale at $4.2 million. Daniel Teixeira with Douglas Elliman represented both sides of the deal. The sale breaks down to $1,878 per square foot.

April’s cheapest sale bottomed out at the Castle Apartments at 4881 Northwest 22nd Street in Lauderhill. Unit B2 sold for $75,000. Nicole Bouchard with Keller Williams Realty had the listing. No buyer’s agent was given. The deal closed at $90 per square foot.
