Broward County condo sales rise in March to $379M  

$5.4M closing at Four Seasons Residences Fort Lauderdale took top spot

Broward County condo sales rose in March to $379 million, up from $238 million in February and $250 million in January.

Brokers closed 1155 sales last month, compared with 754 sales the month prior, Multiple Listing Service data from Redfin show. March sales prices ranged from $52,100 to $5.4 million, with a median sale price of $232,000. The price per square foot ranged from $72 to $2,286, with a median of $229.

By comparison, February prices ranged from $65,000 to $4.5 million, with a median sale price of $235,000. The price per square foot ranged from $82 to $1,966, with a median of $227.

Unit 1403 at the Four Seasons Residences in Fort Lauderdale, at 525 Fort Lauderdale Beach Boulevard, was March’s priciest sale at $5.4 million. Daniel and Enrique Teixeira with Douglas Elliman had the listing, and Daniel Teixeira also represented the buyer. The condo spent 279 days on the market. The sale breaks down to $2,289 per square foot.

By comparison, two sales tied for February’s priciest. Unit 401 at One24 Residences, at 124 Hendricks Isle in Fort Lauderdale sold for $4.5 million, or $1,010 per square foot. Andrew J. Ziffer had the listing, and Rachelle Hirt-Beresh represented the buyer. Both agents are with Compass. The sale closed after 84 days on the market.

Unit N1102 at Auberge Beach Residences, at 2200 North Ocean Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale also sold for $4.5 million in February. Charles Falkanger with Compass had the listing and Michele Tabb with LoKation represented the buyer. That sale closed after 52 days on the market at $1,966 per square foot.

March’s cheapest sale rang in at $52,100. Delroy Wallace with RE/MAX had the listing for Holiday Springs Village unit 207, at 3080 Holiday Springs Boulevard in Margate. Ana Maria Carranza with London Foster Realty represented the buyer. The deal closed at $72 per square foot after 44 days on the market.
