Miami-Dade condo sales and dollar volume rose again last week

Condo dollar volume reached $153 million last week, up from $129 million the week before. Brokers closed 172 sales, compared to 144 sales the previous week. Condos sold for an average price of $889,000, slightly lower than $897,000 a week earlier. The average price per square foot rose to $604 from $520, according to data from condo.com.

Ritz-Carlton Residences, Miami Beach unit 601 at 4701 North Meridian Avenue had last week’s highest price tag at $7.4 million. Dina Goldentayer had the listing, and Darin Tansey represented the buyer. Both agents are with Douglas Elliman. The unit sold for $1,783 per square foot after spending 233 days on the market.

A unit at 57 Ocean, also in Miami Beach, took the title of second-priciest sale. Unit 302 at 5775 Collins Avenue traded for $5.6 million, after spending 41 days on the market. Christopher Jude with Fortune Christie’s International brokered both sides of the deal, which breaks down to $3,212 per square foot.
