Elysee closing leads Miami-Dade weekly condo sales

Miami-Dade County condo sales fell, while dollar volume stayed flat last week.

Condo dollar volume reached $153 million last week, the same as the week prior. Brokers closed 137 sales, compared to 172 deals the previous week. Condos sold for an average price of $644,000, lower than the $889,000 average a week earlier. The average price per square foot fell to $486 from $604, according to data from condo.com.

Elysee Miami closed out the top spot. Unit 5601 at 788 Northeast 23rd Street in Miami sold for $5.5 million. Brenda Bichili with Douglas Elliman had the listing, and Jason Zarco with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices EWM Realty represented the buyer. The unit sold for $1,576 per square foot, after spending 160 days on the market.

Parque Towers, Unit 5-TS04 at 330 Sunny Isles Boulevard was the second priciest sale at $4.5 million. Wendy Cohen with One Sotheby’s International Realty had the listing, and Mirta Branco with LPT Realty represented the buyer. The condo spent 186 days on the market and sold for $940 per square foot.
