Whole Foods Market | Uptown Boca | Boca Raton

Whole Foods Market will be opening at the Uptown Boca mixed-use development in Palm Beach County.  

The grocery store leased space at the retail portion at Uptown Boca at 20940 Uptown Avenue, according to a news release from the property’s developers. The project is in an unincorporated county area that’s west of Boca Raton

Whole Foods’ opening date isn’t yet known. The landlords declined to disclose the grocer’s square footage. 

Schmier Property Group, Giles Capital Group and Rosemurgy Properties, in partnership with Wheelock Street Capital, completed Uptown Boca in 2020 on the southeast corner of U.S. 441 and Glades Road. It consists of 195,000 square feet of retail and restaurants, as well as a 456-unit apartment complex, the release says. 

In 2021, the developers sold the seven-building multifamily complex to Atlanta-based Cortland for $230 million

Marmia Foods | Westport Business Park | Davie 

A Miami-Dade County-based food distributor leased industrial space in Davie

Marmia Foods took 19,800 square feet at 2525 Davie Road in the Westport Business Park, according to a news release from the landlord’s broker. 

Keith Graves and Jonathan Thiel of Berger Commercial Realty/Corfac International represented the landlord. Parvani Commercial Group represented the tenant. 

San Francisco-based Prologis, a real estate investment trust that focuses on logistics real estate, owns the three buildings at 2501-2555 Davie Road, according to the firm’s website and records. Hamid Moghadam leads Prologis. 

Jetset Pilates | Coral Gables 

A Pilates studio will open near the Shops at Merrick Park in Coral Gables

Jetset Pilates will open in 1,500 square feet at 4000 Ponce De Leon Boulevard this fall, according to a news release from the franchise owners who leased the space. Married couple Andrea and Carlos Ponce, who are Jetset franchise owners, signed a 10-year term. 

Records show that an affiliate of Ugo Colombo’s Miami-based CMC Group owns the building, which is home to the The Collection luxury car dealership. The property also includes 50,000 square feet of office space and 32,000 square feet of retail, according to CMC’s website.
