Movers & Shakers: Centaur Holdings Lands Corcoran’s John Hackett

Among the latest South Florida real estate hiring news, the developer of a planned Palm Beach Gardens golf community poached longtime Corcoran broker John Hackett to head sales.

Hackett left Corcoran after nearly eight years as a managing director to lead sales of Panther National, his LinkedIn shows. Palm Beach Daily News first reported the move. Hackett oversaw eight offices and 260 agents across Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties, according to the outlet. 

Centaur Holdings is the developer of Panther National, which is part of Palm Beach Gardens’ Avenir development. Panther will have an 18-hole Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course and 218 single-family homes.

Dallas-based Pinnacle Realty Advisors hired Mike King-Sadick as its director of growth for South Florida, the brokerage announced in a press release. King-Sadick was formerly the director of partnerships at Side, a venture-backed brokerage service startup. He helped recruit 32 agent teams to Side, according to the release. 

Among the agent teams that joined Side in South Florida are Jose Medina, Dexter Brandao, Marco Tiné and Lucrecia Lindemann. Top Miami and New York brokers Oren and Tal Alexander launched the Side-backed Official along with other partners last year.

Pinnacle’s hiring of King-Sadick comes just seven months into the firm’s arrival to South Florida, according to the release.

BBX Logistics Properties, a subsidiary of Fort Lauderdale-based BBX Capital Real Estate, hired Megan LeMense as director of operations and marketing, her LinkedIn shows. LeMense was previously senior director of marketing at Raise Commercial Real Estate, a San Francisco-based commercial real estate firm. Prior to Raise, LeMense worked in marketing at  WeWork in New York for four years, according to her LinkedIn.
