$8M La Clara unit in West Palm Beach took the top spot

Palm Beach County condo sales and dollar volume fell in September.

Brokers closed 644 condo sales totaling $293 million in Palm Beach County in September, compared to 746 condo sales totaling $340 million in August, MLS data from Redfin show.

September sale prices ranged from $70,000 to $8.4 million, with a median price of $259,000. In August, prices ranged from $45,000 to $16 million, with a median of $265,000. 

The price per square foot in September ranged from $76 to $2,705 with a median of $237. That’s the same median as in August, when the price per square foot ranged from $50 to $3,363.

September’s priciest sale was a condo at La Clara. Unit 2204 at 200 Arkona Court in West Palm Beach closed at $8.4 million, or $2,705 per square foot. Joseph Columbo and Christopher Leavitt with Douglas Elliman had the listing. Jack Elkins with William Raveis South Florida represented the buyer. It sold after eight days on the market.

It’s just over half the price of August’s most expensive sale. That month, Bristol unit 804 at 1100 South Flagler Drive in West Palm Beach sold for $16 million.

Like in August, a sale at Lake Clarke Gardens bottomed out the charts for September. Unit 206 at 2769 South Garden Drive in Lake Worth sold for $70,000 — or $94 per square foot. Kelly Dieugrand and Natalie Chacon with Donohue Real Estate had the listing. Roy Lim with My Place in Florida represented the buyer. The condo spent 46 days on the market.
