Brazilian software boss Laércio José De Lucena Cosentino sold his Fendi Château unit in Surfside for $27.1 million.
Cosentino’s Monte Chateau LLC, a Florida entity, sold unit 1001 in the building at 9349 Collins Avenue to a land trust managed by attorney Neal Litman, records show. The true buyer is unknown.
The deal was closed off-market. It equates to about $4,000 per square foot.
Cosentino is founder and chairman of the board of Totvs, a software company based in São Paulo, Brazil.
He bought the unit in 2016 for $10.8 million, records show. Completed that year, the 6,800-square-foot unit has four bedrooms, five bathrooms and one half-bathroom.
Chateau Group built the 12-story, 57-unit Fendi Château designed by Arquitectonica. Units range from 3,000 square feet to more than 7,000 square feet. Amenities in the building include a restaurant, pools, library, movie theater, fitness center and kids club, the building’s website shows.
Since its completion, the building has attracted a number of high-profile residents. Tom Brady is renting a unit in the Château while his Indian Creek estate is under construction.
In August, a unit sold for $10.2 million, or $3,057 per square foot. In June, another unit sold for $9.5 million, or $2,751 per square foot.
