Puttery | Wynwood 

Puttery, a mini-golf provider backed by professional golfer Rory McIlroy, will open an outpost in Miami’s Wynwood

Puttery will offer three nine-hole golf courses across 17,800 square feet at 239 Northwest 28th Street, according to the company’s website and a news release. The outpost, which is expected to open this month, will include two bars and dining options. 

Records show New York-based Thor Equities owns the Wynwood site. Thor is led by Joseph Sitt. 

Giorgina | Wynwood 

A Mexico City-based hospitality group opened an Italian restaurant in Miami’s Wynwood neighborhood. 

Grupo Mandolina’s Giorgina restaurant leased about 4,000 square feet at 2700 North Miami Avenue, according to a news release from BEA Interiors Design. The Miami-based firm, founded and led by Bea Pernia, designed the Giorgina interior, which emulates a Mediterranean setting and has a ceiling adorned with 5,000 lemons on vines. 

Giorgina is led by executive chef Hector Caspio and chef consultant Federico Tischler.

The restaurant’s Wynwood outpost is at the Cynergi condo building. 

Dollar Tree | Miami-Dade, Palm Beach counties 

Discount retail chain Dollar Tree opened three new stores across South Florida. 

The retailer leased 14,000 square feet at 8313 West Flagler Street in the Fontainebleau neighborhood in unincorporated Miami-Dade County, according to a news release from the tenant’s broker. The outpost is in the Flagler Park Plaza owned by Jericho, New York-based Kimco Realty, records show. 

Dollar Tree also opened in 13,500 square feet at 2750 West 68th Street in Hialeah, as well as in 9,000 square feet at 2929 North Military Trail within Crosstown Plaza near West Palm Beach, according to the release. 

An entity led by Francisco Sarria owns the Hialeah site, and a limited liability company managed by Myron Vogel owns Crosstown Plaza, records show. 

Steve Miller of The Rotella Group represented Dollar Tree in the leases. 

Dollar Tree also plans to open stores in Sunny Isles Beach and Lauderhill, according to the release. The discount retailer was founded in 1986 and is based in Chesapeake, Virginia.
