A renewable energy company will open an outpost at the Office Depot headquarters campus in Boca Raton

MN8 Energy leased 20,400 square feet at 6600 North Military Trail, according to a news release from the landlords.

Pebb Enterprises and the Toledano family’s BH Group own the 650,000-square-foot office complex. They bought the property for $104 million from Office Depot’s parent company, ODP Corporation. Under the leaseback deal, Office Depot continues to rent about 300,000 square feet for its headquarters. The lease term is five years.

Boca Raton-based Pebb and Aventura-based BH have rechristened the 29-acre property The Offices at 6600 N Military Trail. The firms will renovate some of the office buildings, and also partnered with Related Group on a planned redevelopment of one building into a nine-story project with 500 residential units and 42,000 square feet of retail.

Joe Freitas and John Criddle of CBRE are leasing the campus on behalf of the landlords.

MN8, based in New York, provides renewable power generation, electric vehicle charging, battery storage and other clean energy services. The firm was originally founded as part of Goldman Sachs, but separated in 2022.
