The Morgan Law Group, Kelley Kronenberg, more | Coral Gables
Two law firms and a spa leased at Amerant Bank’s headquarters building in Coral Gables.
In the biggest deal, The Morgan Law Group took the entire 20,000-square-foot fifth floor, where it will move in the second quarter from 55 Merrick Way in Coral Gables, according to a news release from the landlord’s broker. Law firm Kelley Kronenberg took 9,000 square feet on the fourth floor, where it will move next month from 1111 Brickell Avenue in Miami.
Heavenly MedSpa took 3,100 square feet on the ground floor, marking its first South Florida outpost, according to the release. The spa will open this year.
Gordon Messinger of CBRE represented the landlord. Robert Orban and Zachary Talbot of Cresa represented Morgan Law. Tyler Harrison of Equistone Partners represented Kelley Kronenberg.
New York-based Fortress Investment Group bought the 13-story building at 220 Alhambra Circle in 2021 for $135 million. In the sale-leaseback deal, seller Amerant Bancorp, which operates Amerant Bank, leased the building. The release lists the landlord as an entity led by Amerant Bank executives.
The property is 90 percent occupied, the release says.
Bondi Sushi | Oakland Park
Bondi Sushi will open this summer in Oakland Park.
The restaurant leased 2,100 square feet at the mixed-use Oaklyn development at 3333 North Federal Highway, according to a news release from the landlord.
David Abrams of Masonre represented the tenant and landlord in the lease.
Bondi Sushi also has an outpost in Miami Beach and plans to open in Miami’s Brickell and Midtown neighborhoods, its website shows.
David Hess, Aiden Carty and Justin Hauser started Bondi Sushi in New York.
Newrock Partners and Brickbox Enterprises developed Oaklyn with 274 apartments and more than 19,000 square feet of retail. Newrock, based in Oakland Park, is led by Dan Deitchman, Koby Assaraf and Joshua Deitchman. Brickbox is based in Fort Lauderdale, according to the company’s LinkedIn.
Tidelli | Miami
Outdoor furniture store Tidelli opened in Miami.
Tidelli, which started in Brazil, leased 6,500 square feet at 3650 North Miami Avenue, according to the tenant’s spokesperson. The building is at the intersection of Midtown Miami and Wynwood Norte.
Records show New York-based Abro Management, led by Richard Scharf, owns the two-story, 22,500-square-foot building.
