A team from Vero Beach won the top award at One Sotheby’s International Realty for 2023, two years after joining the brokerage.
The O’Dare Boga Dobson Group of Vero Beach, led by Cindy O’Dare, Richard Boga and Kristin Dobson, ranked first among the brokerage’s large teams, with $184 million in sales last year, according to a press release. Marko Gojanovic and Reid Heidenry’s MR Luxury Group ranked second, and Albert Justo and Mirce Curkoski’s Waterfront Team placed third. Both are Miami-based groups. They closed $73.7 million and $95.9 million in on-market deals, respectively, according to TRD’s 2023 Miami-Dade County broker ranking.
Miami agent Michael Martinez ranked as the top individual agent for One Sotheby’s, with $156 million in deals closed last year. Martinez had $144.1 million in on-market sales, according to TRD’s 2023 ranking. Madison Collum, a Jupiter based-agent who represented the mystery buyer of a $68.1 million oceanfront Palm Beach estate in July, placed second. Jessica Adams ranked third. She joined One Sotheby’s in 2019 after a seven-year run with the Riley Smith Group, which was then with EWM Realty International.
One Sotheby’s top small team was Eddy Martinez and Roland Ortiz’s Miami-based Worldwide Group, with more than $102 million of closed sales in 2023. The Moorman Group, led by Brian Moorman in Ponte Vedra Beach, and Nestler-Poletto, the Boca Raton team helmed by Mark Nestler and John Poletto, followed the Worldwide Group.
All three teams won the same awards for One Sotheby’s the previous year.
Another repeat victor, Manny Chamizo, earned the top producer title for commercial sales. The Catena Group’s Catalina Martinez, Ena Espino and Damian Silvi landed the top award for development sales.
One Sotheby’s, based in Coconut Grove and led by mother-son duo Mayi and Daniel de la Vega, has been expanding across Florida’s east coast in recent years.
In January, the firm took over sales from Douglas Elliman at the planned Alba Palm Beach condo project in West Palm Beach, marking its entrance into development sales in Palm Beach County. One Sotheby’s is also leading sales for the 61-unit condo component of Tavistock’s Pier Sixty-Six project in Fort Lauderdale and Related Group and Integra Investments’ planned 150-unit St. Regis Residences, Miami.
The brokerage has also recently recruited teams in Boca Raton and Fort Lauderdale, and hired Chief Marketing Officer Lena Johnson.
