Palm Beach County condo sales jump in October to $239M 

Number of closings rose to 495 from 445 in September

Palm Beach County’s condo sales and dollar volume rose last month, beating September’s totals.

October condo sales totaled $239 million, rising from $221 million in September. Brokers closed 495 sales last month, up from 445 sales in September, but less than the 546 sales in August, Multiple Listing Service data from Redfin show.

October sale prices ranged from $25,000 to $9.6 million, with a median sale price of $251,125. The price per square foot ranged from $32 to $2,463, with a median of $231.

In September, sales closed with a median price of $250,000, and $228 per square foot.

Unit 303 at Boca Beach Residences, at 725 South Ocean Boulevard in Boca Raton, closed for the highest amount at $9.6 million — or $2,218 per square foot. The sale closed after 345 days on the market. Jacqueline Feldman with One Sotheby’s International Realty had the listing. Lisa Bailey Levy with eXp Realty represented the buyer.

The sale price was less than September’s priciest sale. Unit 505 at One Thousand Ocean, at 1000 South Ocean Boulevard in Boca Raton, closed for $9.4 million.

In contrast, Unit J at Kings Point Saxony, at 438 Saxony Way in Delray Beach, took the title of cheapest sale in October. The condo, which requires renovations, traded for $25,000 — or $35 per square foot — after 37 days on the market. Samuel Fugina with Marlin Realty had the listing.
