In the latest roundup of South Florida real estate hiring news, firms and brokerages expanded their ranks with new roles.
Adriana Hernandez joined the Jills Zeder Group of Coldwell Banker Realty, according to a press release. Hernandez is based in Key Biscayne, and joins the team from E Realty International where she was an agent for seven years, the release shows. With Hernandez onboard, the Jills Zeder Group expands its reach into the Key Biscayne market. The team ranked first with $923 million in on-market sales in The Real Deal’s 2024 Miami-Dade County broker ranking.
Stamm Development Group (SDG) is launching two divisions in South Florida, SDG|Real Estate and SDG|Construction, according to a press release. The real estate development firm is headquartered in Philadelphia and led by President and CEO Michael Stamm. SDG|Real Estate, the brokerage arm, is led by director of sales John Hackett, who previously headed sales for Panther National in Palm Beach Gardens. SDG|Construction is led by partner Andrew Gordon and senior project manager Jason Chwalik, the website shows.
Fort Lauderdale-based DoveHill, a hospitality investment and development firm, promoted Charles Paloux as its chief investment officer, a press release shows. Paloux joined DoveHill as executive vice president of investments in 2021, and previously held roles at JLL and Hersha Hospitality Trust, according to the release. In his new role, Paloux will oversee the firm’s portfolio of investments, including acquisitions and asset management.
DoveHill developed and owns the 323-key Dalmar in Fort Lauderdale.
Lee & Associates brought in hospitality specialist Garrick Benabe as a principal in its Miami office, according to a press release. Benabe joins the firm from Apex Capital Realty, where he was director of hospitality investments for six years, LinkedIn shows. Altman Logistics Properties, formerly BBX Logistics Properties, hired Madeline Fine as vice president and director of leasing, a press release shows. In her new role, Fine will oversee leasing strategy and activity across the firm’s portfolio. She joins Altman from JLL, where she worked for three years and was most recently a senior associate, LinkedIn shows.
