Motek | Boca Raton
Kosher-style Mediterranean restaurant Motek, which means “sweetheart” in Hebrew, will open on Restaurant Row in Boca Raton early next year.
The family owned restaurant leased 7,200 square feet at the Restaurant Row development on the northeast corner of Town Center and Butts roads, according to the tenant’s broker.
Michael Silverman and Jeff Evans of Comras Company represented the tenant. Jenny Schuemann and Ian Weiner of Pebb Enterprises represented the landlord, Pebb.
Boca Raton-based Pebb completed the 22,500-square-foot Restaurant Row last year. The development, where Stage Kitchen & Bar, El Camino and chef Fabio Trabocchi’s Fiolina Pasta House also have leased, is near Town Center at Boca Raton mall.
Weiner is CEO of Pebb.
Presidente Supermarkets | Miami Gardens
Presidente Supermarkets will open an outpost in Miami Gardens in July of next year.
The grocery store leased 26,800 square feet at 5580 Northwest 167th Street, according to the tenant’s news release.
Alan and Josh Levy were part of the Levy Realty Advisors team that represented the landlord. Neyda Bravo and Luis Gonzalez of Bravo & Partners represented the tenant.
Records show that two entities, one led by Andrew Pastor and David Zimmerman, and the other by Alan Levy, own the building.
Sunness Supper Club | Fort Lauderdale
A new dining concept opened in Fort Lauderdale.
Sunness Supper Club leased a 6,000-square-foot space at 2465 East Sunrise Boulevard, according to the tenant’s news release. The restaurant seats 130 guests.
The outpost marks owner and operator Michael Stanley’s first brick-and-mortar restaurant. Previously, Stanley owned and operated MK Takeaways, which delivers chef-prepared fresh meals to homes, and was founder of organic baby food company Yummy in my Tummy, according to the release. Sunness Supper Club is named after Stanley’s grandfather.
An entity led by Shiu H. Lam owns the building.
Apple Store | Fort Lauderdale
The Apple Store expanded at the Galleria at Fort Lauderdale.
The store now leases 12,000 square feet, double its previous size, at the mall at 2414 East Sunrise Boulevard, according to the landlord’s news release.
Keystone Florida Property Holding, a title holding company for the benefit of the Pennsylvania Public School Employees Retirement System, owns the mall, records show.
Hürrem Hammam Wellness & Spa | North Miami Beach
A spa and Turkish hammam will open in North Miami Beach.
Hürrem Hammam Wellness & Spa leased 20,000 square feet at 14652 Biscayne Boulevard, where it will open next month, according to the tenant’s news release and a spokesperson.
Aventura-based Triarch Capital Group, as well as Shlomy Alexander and Gil Neumann of security firm Kent Services, own the building. Alexander is the father of Tal, Oren and Alon Alexander, who are facing state sexual assault charges and federal sex trafficking charges. The three brothers have denied the allegations.
Playa Wynwood | Miami
Entertainment venue Playa Wynwood opened in Miami’s Wynwood neighborhood.
Playa Wynwood, which has cultural, music and other offerings, leased 15,000 square feet of indoor space and 18,000 square feet of outdoor space at 2129 Northwest First Court, according to the tenant’s news release.
An entity led by Rene Morales and Sandra Clavijo owns the building.
