🏆 Residential: The most expensive home sale to hit records in South Florida was Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan’s purchase of a waterfront mansion on a 2-acre estate at 7 Indian Creek Road for $170 million. The sellers of the 28,000-square-foot home, which is under construction, were cosmetic surgeon Dr. Aaron Rollins and his wife Marine Rollins. Danny and Jill Hertzberg with the Jills Zeder Group at Coldwell Banker had the listing. Brett Harris of Bespoke Real Estate represented Zuckerberg and Chan. The transaction is one of the most expensive home sales in the country.

🏆 Commercial: Pompano Beach had the top commercial deal recorded in South Florida. A seven-building apartment complex known as the Pompano Gardens sold for $16.5 million. The seller was Joseph K. Maiuro, and the buyers were entities tied to Meir M. Cohen. The properties primarily sit along Northwest Sixth and Seventh avenues.

📊 Residential: In Coral Gables, a 1.7-acre waterfront estate at 235 Solano Prado that appears will likely be redeveloped traded for $35 million. An LLC managed by Christian D. Curtis was the seller, and the buyer was an LLC managed by developer Alex Pirez and Jean Simonian. The property last traded in 2022 for $34 million

📊 Residential: A property at 480 South Ocean Boulevard in Palm Beach, across the street from the ocean, sold for $28 million. The seller was a trust tied to Patricia A. Khan, and the buyer was an LLC tied to Justin Sadrian, an executive at Warburg Pincus. The four-bedroom home spans about 4,700 square feet and dates to the 1920s. It hit the market in March 2025, with an asking price of $38.9 million. Stephen Ploof with Hilton Hilton Real Estate had the listing, and Elizabeth Savage with Brown Harris Stevens brought the buyer.

By the Numbers: Palm Beach County home sales dip as transaction volume climbs to $22B

The number of home sales in Palm Beach County dropped last year, but prices are still climbing amid remarkable demand for ultra-luxury real estate.

The county raked in just under 23,000 home sales last year, about 4 percent fewer than the year before, according to a TRD Data analysis of on-market, county residential transactions from Jan. 1, 2025 to Jan. 22, 2026. 

However, last year’s on-market deals represent a climb in value compared to the year before. 

The county recorded $21.9 billion worth of on-market deals last year, up nearly 8 percent. The average home sale was about $953,000 last year, a jump from $881,000 in 2024.
