A mansion in Jupiter’s Admirals Cove topped Palm Beach County’s luxury market last week, landing a $19 million contract.
Buyers signed 19 contracts between June 15 and 21, according to the weekly report by Douglas Elliman’s Eklund-Gomes team, which tracks listings in Palm Beach County above $3 million.
The previous report, published the last week of May, recorded 25 contracts totaling $227 million in asking dollar volume. The report for the first week of June was not published while its compiler was out of office.
All of the properties marked pending last week were single-family homes. They totaled $143.7 million in asking dollar volume and spent an average of 133 days on the market. The average contract price was $7.6 million, or $1,400 per square foot.
The 6,800-square-foot mansion at 160 Spyglass Lane was the priciest home to go under contract last week. Jennifer Hyland of The Corcoran Group listed the property. Palm Beach County records list the current owner as Copper Sun LLC.
The entity acquired the property last year from Burford’s Construction president William Burford and his wife, Anna Burford, for $15.75 million, the South Florida Business Journal reported. The Burfords bought the home in 2023 for $15.5 million from former Los Angeles Dodgers co-owner Jamie McCourt.
The home includes five bedrooms, six bathrooms and two half-baths, as well as a pool, a cabana, an elevator, a bar and a dock.
The second most-expensive home to go under contract was a new home at 481 Thatch Palm Drive in Boca Raton. It was listed for $17.75 million by David Roberts of Royal Palm Properties. Records list Catherine Stile and Paul Stile as the owners, who bought the property in 2024.
The 8,500-square-foot home, completed this year, has five bedrooms, six bathrooms and two half-baths. It includes a bar, pool, library, putting green and summer kitchen.
