Giants Co-Owner Daniel Tisch Buys Palm Beach Penthouse

New York Giants co-owner Daniel Tisch and his wife, Bonnie Tisch, dropped $12.5 million for a penthouse in Palm Beach.

The Tisches bought the 4,600-square-foot unit in the Leverett House at 110 Sunset Avenue from attorney and novelist Gary Lachman. The deal worked out to about $2,700 per square foot. Jack Rooney of Douglas Elliman brought the buyer in the deal, while Victoria Brewer and Gary Pohrer of Serhant repped the seller.

The Lachman family acquired the unit for $2.1 million in 1993, the South Florida Business Journal reported. Property records show Penthouse E4A has four bedrooms, four baths and one half-bath. It has private elevator access and was sold with a newly renovated poolside cabana and two parking spaces in the garage, according to the Palm Beach Post. The Leverett House, a boutique building with six residences built in 1982, also includes a pool and a gym.

Daniel Tisch is a member of the extended billionaire family that co-owns the New York Giants alongside the Mara family. He’s a managing member of one of the Tisch family’s investment funds, TowerView LLC.

The Tisches are not the only NFL-affiliated figures with a Leverett House residence. In 2022, billionaire owner of the New England Patriots Robert Kraft and his wife, Dana, bought the 5,000-square-foot unit E4B for $23.8 million, The Real Deal previously reported. At the time, it was a town record for condo sales. JoAnn Rooney, the widow of former Pittsburgh Steelers owner John Rooney, also has a unit in the building.

Palm Beach has attracted a number of NFL owners. In 2021, hedge fund billionaire and Carolina Panthers owner David Tepper bought an oceanfront mansion in the town for $68.4 million. Jeffrey Lurie, owner of the Philadelphia Eagles, paid $28.5 million for a mansion in 2013.
