American-Israeli film producer and businessman Meir Teper bought a waterfront home in Delray Beach for $20 million, and a developer sold a mansion in Jupiter for $33.8 million.

Both deals add to an already busy summer for waterfront home sales across South Florida.

Records show Eugene and Judith Reilly sold the 7,800-square-foot house at 1033 Waterway Lane to Teper, who co-founded Nobu Hospitality with chef Nobu Matsuhisa and actor Robert De Niro.

The house has six bedrooms, six and a half bathrooms and sits on a 0.6-acre lot. The Reillys paid $11.4 million for the property in 2021. The house was built in 2006. It was on the market with Hutchison Real Estate Company’s Kathleen Hutchison for $22 million. Antonio Liguori and Pascal Liguori of Premier Estate Properties represented the buyer.

Teper has plenty of business in South Florida: Nobu has locations at the Eau Resort & Spa in Manalapan and at the Eden Roc hotel in Miami Beach. Nobu is also branding 619 Brickell by Nobu, a 75-story, 296-unit tower planned for the bayfront site at 619 Brickell Avenue in Miami. 13th Floor Investments and Key International are developing the project.

The Delray Beach property includes a wine room, office, clubroom, elevator and an outdoor space with a pool, spa, cabana, wet bars and private dock.

In a separate sale, spec home developer Stuart Hankin sold the 10,900-square-foot mansion at 228 Bear’s Club Drive in Jupiter for $33.8 million. Tech executive Derek Kreunen, chairman at CodeCapital and Erin Kreunen, whose half-brother is actor Christian Bale, bought the estate, according to property records.

Margit Brandt with Premier Estate Properties had the listing and Mark Griffin with The Bear’s Club Sotheby’s International Realty brought the buyers.

Hankin paid $3.4 million for the 1-acre property in the gated Bear’s Club in 2021. He completed the six-bedroom home last year, and it includes eight bathrooms, two half-bathrooms, a theater, a 1,600-bottle wine cellar and a pool.
