No, it’s not a dream, like Bobby Ewing’s death in season eight of “Dallas.”

Actor Patrick Duffy’s southern Oregon ranch, known as the Duffy Ranch, is set to go under the hammer with no minimum starting bid, Oregon Live reported.

The 329-acre property along the scenic Rogue River, which is listed for just under $11 million,  will be open to offers from potential buyers via Sotheby’s Concierge Auctions from Dec. 7 to 14.

While there is no predetermined reserve or minimum, industry insiders anticipate starting bids to range between $3 million and $5 million.

The auction is facilitated by Concierge Auctions, a firm specializing in marketing luxury real estate globally, in collaboration with Duffy’s listing broker, Alan DeVries of Cascade Hasson Sotheby’s International Realty.

A live webcast of the auction is scheduled for Dec. 14, accessible on ConciergeAuctions.com.

However, Duffy retains the right to cancel the auction on Dec. 6, depending on the strength and size of the pool of bidders assembled up to that point, said Charlie Engel of Concierge Auctions.

To incentivize early bids and avoid a low-offer scenario, the auction offers a 50 percent discount on the buyer’s premium — an additional cost amounting to 12 percent of the final sale price.

The property boasts a lodge-style primary residence situated on 79 acres of riverfront, potentially divisible into 5-acre lots.

The 1950s main house features a river-stone fireplace, knotty pine walls, and an enclosed sunroom facing the water.

Duffy expanded the residence by adding a wing with a high-ceilinged art gallery and a primary suite, complete with a walkway to a wine cave and spa cabin. Other features include a detached pool building, more than 100 acres of irrigated grounds, a 2-acre pond, and a 15-acre island in the Rogue River.

DeVries said it’s a rare opportunity to own a piece of the coveted Rogue Valley.

Duffy also has listed a house, covered arena and barn on 29.5 acres, a chalet-style cabin on 2.18 acres, and a manufactured home on 5 acres, all located on Trails End Lane. A non-farm homesite on 12.45 acres was sold in June 2023.

Prospective buyers must register to bid with a $100,000 deposit and a letter of reference from their bank or financial institution. The highest bidder is responsible for a premium and any transfer fees, while the seller covers title search, title insurance, and broker commissions. Property details and diligence documents are available on ConciergeAuctions.com or by contacting 212-202-2940.

Duffy, who acquired the property in 1990, describes the ranch as having “several different worlds,” and said he hoped it will find an owner who appreciates its distinct charm.
