From anticipating tariffs to innovative robotics, the agenda is in for Future City. For two and a half days, from March 9-11, the top minds and movers in real estate will come together on Kiawah Island to discuss the latest ideas that are shaping the future of urban development.
This year’s program will give real estate principals insight into the most up-to-date technology and cutting-edge techniques for development, construction, design and urban planning, with topical focuses on 3D-printed construction, future-proof development, building robotics, insider perspectives on the next economic and political cycle, and so much more.
Notable additions to the program include:
- Brendan Wallace—CEO & CIO of Fifth Wall, the largest venture capital firm focused on technology—provides insights on AI, where he thinks it’s really worth investing, and what real estate has learned after riding the first wave of industry-wide adoption.
- Global leader of Gensler’s residential practice Robert Fuller will add his perspective on the most successful office-to-resi conversions, giving a window into his work at Midtown Manhattan’s Pfizer building and San Francisco’s 785 Market.
- oWow CEO & Co-founder Danny Haber, who has developed over 2 million square feet of commercial space using mass timber, joins the program to discuss cutting down the cost of designing and building new homes with new construction materials and techniques
- Former congressman and current CIO of Coastal Construction Patrick Murphy will explain his outlook for the next political administration, giving an insider’s view onto what real estate can expect from the developer-in-chief.
These fascinating sessions will be punctuated by lively discussions between attendees, where real estate’s biggest dealmakers can trade insights and inspire one another to push the boundaries of urban development.
All of this takes place March 9 to 11 in Future City’s new location — The Sanctuary at Kiawah Island in South Carolina, the luxury beachside getaway voted No. 1 Resort in the South in Conde Nast Traveler’s Readers’ Choice Awards.
Confirmed attendees this year include Sam Charney, David Schwartz, Michael Hershman, Ari Rastegar, Ilija Pavlovic and Ariel Aufgang, with more to be announced.
