Brooklyn fights to save old churches

Brooklynites are trying to save their churches from a wave of condominium construction in the borough. Among the religious buildings targeted, the century-old United Methodist Church in Bay Ridge has been put on the market for $13 million, and Temple Beth Ahavath Shalom in Bensonhurst was demolished last week.
