The Post reports that the owners of 85 Tenth Avenue have placed the 15-story, 600,000-square foot former Oreo Cookie factory located in the MeatPacking District/Chelsea on the market for $300 million. The owners, a partnership of Angelo Gordon Co., Belvedere Capital, Irwin Cohen and Young Woo Associates, have chosen Eastdil’s Douglas Harmon to handle offers for the building, which has been put on the block just months before the openings of two restaurants run by chefs Mario Batali and Tom Colicchio. more [Post]
