Ratner gradually winning activists’ support

Developer Bruce Ratner is gradually gaining the support of city activists like ACORN executive director Bertha Lewis and the Rev. Al Sharpton for his proposed New Jersey Nets project over the Atlantic rail yards in Prospect Heights. The project, one of the biggest mixed-use developments ever outside of Manhattan, has faced opposition from some residents.
