New construction workers training hub unveiled

The brand-new Mason Tenders’ District Council Training Center was unveiled Monday in Long Island City. The 21,000-square-foot facility will provide hands-on training for 10,000 trainees a year on how to lay bricks and mortar, build scaffolds and remove asbestos, among other skills. more [NYDN]
