New Sears design HQ opens Downtown

Mayor Bloomberg and Gov. Pataki yesterday cut the ribbon for the new headquarters of the Sears design department. The department’s offices used to be based in Chelsea. Sears will more than double the size of its design workforce by hiring 120 new employees at the new offices in Lower Manhattan. more [NY1]
