Columbia’s Manhattanville plans draw criticism

Not unsurprisingly, Columbia University’s plans to expand into Harlem’s Manhattanville section have been sharply criticized by small businesses and residents in the section. Some of the businesses don’t want to sell their property to Columbia, and the university’s plans conflict with the local community board’s plans for Manhattanville. more [Sun]
