New WTC memorial design unveiled

The redesigned World Trade Center memorial and museum was officially unveiled today. The fresh design brings the project close to the $500 million budget cap set by Gov. Pataki and Mayor Bloomberg. The board of directors of the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation is expected to adopt a final design by the end of this month. The current design is now in a seven-day public comment period.
